Member Benefits

The International Brotherhood of Teamsters is one of the largest labor unions in the country. The group started as a craft union when it was founded in 1903, and locally there are approximately 2,800 members under its representation. Members benefit from the collective bargaining power of the union and have the support of a variety of industries, from trucking to building services. Local #492 is in the process of adding a training program that will include truck driving and forklift certifications to their list of member benefits. Local #492 is very active in Albuquerque's growing movie industry.
